The Chicago-based publicist is best known for formerly representing American rapper, Kanye West and R&B singer. R. Kelly.

In August 2023, she hit major headlines after she was named among 19 individuals charged with attempting to overturn the 2020 United States presidential election in Fulton, Georgia.

On Monday, August 14, 2023, Kutti was indicted alongside former President Donald Trump and several of his allies for their alleged actions following the 2020 election.

This investigation centered around Trump and his allies’ attempts to overturn the election. There were 41 total counts brought against the defendants, including 13 felony charges against Trump.

Kutti, who has been a supporter of the former president, is accused of helping to conspire “to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump” alongside 18 others.

Kutti was charged with violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute that prohibits racketeering, alleging Kutti and other defendants “constituted a criminal organization” and engaged in a criminal enterprise when they tried to overturn the election.
Kutti was also charged with one count of conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings and one count of influencing a witness.
The indictment alleges that Kutti communicated, via phone calls and text messages, with other individuals involved in the case and later traveled to Atlanta after being recruited by Willie Lewis Floyd III, director of Black Voices for Trump.
While in Georgia, Kutti made contact with an election worker named Ruby Freeman and visited Freeman’s home in Cobb County, though Kutti was initially unsuccessful in contacting her, the indictment alleges.
Kutti then falsely told Freeman’s neighbor “she was a crisis manager attempting to ‘help’ Freeman,” and later Freeman spent an hour meeting with Kutti at a Cobb County Police Department precinct, where Kutti claimed Freeman needed protection and offered to help her, the indictment alleges.
The indictment alleges Kutti, along with Floyd and Stephen C. Lee, an Illinois pastor, then unlawfully conspired to solicit, request, and importune Freeman to make a false statement about what happened at State Farm Arena during the 2020 presidential election.
