Jackson Mahomes-Why Was He Arrested?
After allegedly pushing a waiter and assaulting a restaurant owner in a Kansas City bar on February 25, Mahomes was arrested a few months later.
At her establishment, Aspens Restaurant and Bar Lounge in Overland Park, he repeatedly shoved a 19-year-old waiter, according to Aspen Vaughn, the restaurant’s owner.
The victim admitted to having a bruise on her neck and told the publication about it. The assaulter has already come under fire for his actions.
Before reportedly beating the 40-year-old, Vaughn claims he sought to speak in private about the event in her office. He appears to have grabbed Vaughn by the neck and forced two kisses on her in surveillance footage of the incident that was widely shared online.
In 2021, he angered people by dancing on the late Sean Taylor’s memorial logo at FedEx Field. Later, he expressed regret for the occurrence. Additionally, the attacker was seen on camera dousing Baltimore Ravens supporters with water as they appeared to be heckling him.
Jackson Mahomes Case Update
Jackson did nothing illegal, according to a statement by the assailant’s attorney, Brandan Davies, in response to the police looking into the charges, and his team’s research had found exonerating evidence:
“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
Jackson, a well-known social media influencer, has drastically reduced his content in the months following the incident. Although Patrick hasn’t spoken out about the incident since it happened, he has joined his brother at family gatherings, the Super Bowl, and the Super Bowl Parade.
According to court documents, the brother of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback will be represented by defense lawyer Brandon Joseph Davies at his upcoming court appearance on May 11, 2023.
In a statement, Davies claimed that the court had ordered him and his client not to comment. At this time, further information regarding Jackson Mahomes’ case is not available, and it is uncertain when additional details will be released.
More information may become available following further court hearings, and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.
