Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) dies-and it looks like Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is to blame-but is she?

Gabi and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) had just blackmailed Li into giving them his DiMera shares, they leave, and when Gabi returns she pulls a knife out of Li’s back!

Between Gabi and Stefan’s confrontation with Li, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) on hand as well, and when Gabi returned to find Li stabbed in the back, someone did the deed.

Li and Gabi had argued when he knew she’d played him-Stefan, Gabi and Rolf had set him up with Gabi claiming she’d been kidnapped by Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson).

Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) had also come home, and tried to console her brother, he’d left a message for her before he went to her and Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) apartment.

That was where he was ambushed, first by Rolf, Gabi and Stefan and later by an unknown assailant. But since Gabi pulled the knife out of his back when she found him, she is the number one suspect.

DOOL Spoilers: Bad Blood Between Gabi Hernandez And Li Shin

There is also a history of bad blood between Gabi and Li, and before Stefan and Gabi can leave the murder scene, Wendy and Tripp return home.

Gabi assumed Li was dead but Tripp checks him and finds there is still a faint pulse; he does what he can and then calls for an ambulance.

Li is rushed to Salem University Hospital, but unfortunately dies anyway, and Gabi’s worried sick about how it looks, with cops swarming the apartment, Gabi saying she’s innocent.

When Wendy finds out Li had been desperate to get over Gabi to the point of entering therapy with Dr. Marlena Evans, (Deidre Hall) she’s furious at Gabi for her manipulations.

Wendy wants Gabi to pay and won’t hear any excuses or pleas of innocence, she was seen over Li on the floor with the knife in her hand.

Gabi did the worst possible thing by pulling the knife out, it’s possible if she had not and it was done properly he could have survived. Still, her fingerprints are on the knife and so there is no other conclusion.

There will be sides chosen over the matter, Stefan insisting Gabi’s story is true, Tripp and Wendy pushing for Gabi to be prosecuted.

As for Rafe Hernandez, (Galen Gering) he believes Gabi, but the evidence tells a different tale and he may not be able to avoid putting her under arrest!
